Introduction
Our International Foundation Year is a course designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to excel in your undergraduate studies. It’s ideal for international students who do not yet have the right qualifications to get onto their undergraduate degree yet.
What is a foundation year?
The International Foundation Year is tailored for high school students seeking additional qualifications and English language training to enter UK universities.
Once you pass our International Foundation Year with the right grade, you can progress to one of 60+ universities – including nine in the QS World Top 100 – across the most popular study destinations.
Students are guaranteed a place in a programme at one of the particpating Universities.
Our goals are to:

All about the course
Business-Focused Curriculum:
- 600 hours of in-depth courses tailored to create a superior academic environment.
- 4 core subjects

- 600 hours of collaborative projects guided by experienced mentors.
- Designed to develop essential skills for building and rebuilding trust within professional settings.

HOW WILL I
BE TAUGHT?
This is a full-time, two-semester course, 5 days a week with at least 16 hours of lessons per week, plus coursework, workshops and mentorship.
You will engage in a variety of learning methods similar to those you will experience during your degree program. Most instruction occurs face-to-face on campus, complemented by a selection of online sessions.
What will my timetable look like?
- Mornings will be dedicated to the teaching of the core subjects.
- Classes are usually 1 hour and 30 minutes long and are mostly face-to-face on campus.
- Afternoons will be dedicated to enhancing your English skills and participating in skill-based learning activities, providing you with the opportunity to review the morning classes and complete your coursework.
- Lunch is available every day at the school restaurant

WHERE WILL I STUDY?
You will study on the inspiring campus of Château d’Argenteuil, nestled on the edge of the Forêt de Soignes in the city of Waterloo. This serene haven is just 15 kilometers south of Brussels’ city center. At the heart of the parkland estate stands the 19th-century Renaissance-style château, where the BFY classes take place. The campus also features excellent facilities, including a sports hall, football field, tennis court, and a beautiful park, offering a perfect balance between academics and leisure.

Students must be able to show English language ability at IELTS 5.0 level or equivalent to start the Foundation Year.

We are organized as a non-profit association, accredited but not subsidized.
The tuition fees for carrying out the school project reflect the real cost of schooling a student.
